Our kennel facility has a cathedral, sky-lighted ceiling. Each room has it's own privacy wall which varies in height according to the size of the room. There is a chain link fencing on top of the privacy wall which varies in height according to the size of the room. There is a chain link fencing on top or the privacy wall so the dogs can see their neighbors as well as everything happening in the kennel.
Individual raised beds in each room complete with sheepskin pads ensure the "just like home" comfort of your pet. Each room has it's own private exercise run which varies in length according to the size of the room - anywhere from 4 feet to 25 feet long. No dogs are ever caged.
There is a very "up" atmosphere in the kennel - often referred to by our client's owners as "camp." Most of the dogs have to bark at each owner or dog going past them in the aisle be it for grooming, check-in or check-out. At the same time there is much jumping on and off their beds. The same excitement happens when the doorbell rings (just like home). There is no boredom during the day and every "camper" is ready for a good nights sleep.
Most of our staff at Aranwood have been here for several years consequently when pets return over time they see "old friends." This is a comfort when they are away from home and family. Knowing each dog well enables our staff to spot any abnormal behavior or possible problems quickly. Our staff spends time with each pet - some to play, some to cuddle or give "tummy rubs," and others to stroke. It depends on what each one seems to want or need. You may bring your pet's favorite toys from home, but should you forget, we have a supply available for sale here as well as bones, rawhides, etc.
Upon request, for those dogs requiring extra exercise we have four large outside Paddocks Areas totally enclosed with eight foot high chain link fencing and an extended arm to the inside for extra security. We offer this also at no additional charge.
